Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre is set to celebrate Ramadan in its new American eatery, Firebird Diner by Michael Mina with an all-American Iftar experience. The fun and lively venue, which is the latest restaurant to open in the Dubai International Financial Centre, plays tribute to the classic American eatery of the 1950s, delivering a timeless dining experience for all.
Over Ramadan, Firebird Diner by Michael Mina is introducing a more unusual twist to traditional Iftar offerings. The concept, in keeping with customary style, will present sharing platters to be enjoyed with friends and family, chosen from a set sharing menu of gourmet interpretations of wholesome American cuisine. To begin with there are classic American-style starters such as Buffalo chicken wings, popcorn shrimps with a guacamole dip, warm roasted tomato soup with creamy cheese toast, and a freshly chopped avocado salad. Furthering on from these mouthwatering flavours are the hearty main courses, including sharing dishes of braised BBQ short ribs, oak-grilled salmon and piping hot golden chicken – which comes with the signature Firebird dish of truffle mac and cheese. In true traditional Arabic style, the last course entitled “Sweet Tooth” offers a rich chocolate cake and creamy strawberry sundae perfect for all to dig into.
Guests can enjoy this unique Iftar offering daily, and on Thursday and Fridays, the diner is open until 2:00 am to allow for later diners to enjoy the traditional Suhoor from its indulgent a la carte menu.
Plush booths, tables and a signature diner-style counter set the stage within the Tihany-designed restaurant for an authentic taste of America – that is more glam than grease! The diner also features a large al fresco terrace and transparent kitchen to complete the classic diner experience.
Firebird Diner is available for Iftar daily from sunset for AED 200 per person. Reservations can be made by calling +971 4 506 0000. The diner will be operating on all normal operating hours during the month of Ramadan, so those looking for breakfast, lunch and dinner time spots can still enjoy the dishes from the diner as well.
