Hilton has opened its second-dual branded hotel in Mexico under the Hampton by Hilton and Homewood Suites brands.
Inversión y Desarrollo de hotels en Mexico developed and is the owner of the dual-branded Hampton by Hilton Monterrey Apodaca and Homewood Suites by Hilton Monterrey Apodaca.
This 96-room Hampton by Hilton Monterrey Apodaca and the 69-room Homewood Suites by Hilton Monterrey Apodaca Centro is on Avenida del Telefono in Nuevo León.
This property is based close to Plaza Comercial Sendero La Fe, important industrial parks, shopping district of Monterrey’s downtown and Aeropuerto General Mariano Escobedo (MTY).
Juan Carlos Saade who is the CEO of Inversión y Desarrollo de Hotels en Mexico mentioned in a statement that Hampton by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton would answer the increasing demand for high-quality accommodation in this crucial manufacturing hub.
Merging these two distinct brands offers them the opportunity to renovate guest experience and also expand offers in the country and this includes their upcoming opening of the dual-brand property in Saltillo.
The new dual-branded hotel is part of Hilton’s expansion across Latin America and the Caribbean with a focus in Mexico. It follows the opening of the 190-room Hilton Garden Inn Mexico City Santa Fe and the 172-room DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Santa Fe in February 2018, according to a report from MeetingsNet.
The dual-branded property next to the Expo Santa Fe Mexico Convention Center is near several restaurants, retail shops and entertainment.
Hilton has planned to continue its expansion in Mexico with a development pipeline of close to 30 hotels. This includes the development of a third dual-branded hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites Saltillo and it is scheduled to open in 2020. The hotel group has a portfolio of more than 130 hotels and resorts operating in the Caribbean and Latin America.
