The NDC –enabled solution will be tested and familiarised by the American Express Global Business Travel for NDC’s flow of ‘shop, order, pay’.
Through this GBT will be able to complement the industrialized version of the solution, inclusive of the servicing capabilities in 2019.
Additionally the American Express GBT can gain access to NDC content to Amadeus’ extensive travel content available.
Michael Qualantone, executive vice president of global supplier relations for American Express Global Business Travel mentioned that working with Amadeus gives them access to travel content and with NDC they will be capable of offering more.
Through all points of sale, be it digital self-service or agent tools the content will be available.
CWT will be working with Amadeus to connect with travel sellers and airlines following the NDC standards.
Gianni Pisanello, vice president, NDC-X program, Amadeus said that the partnership will ensure that they are providing the right content to a vast range of business needs.
