Spirit Airlines expands its corporate headquarters in Miramar

Spirit Airlines has added 26,287 square feet to its corporate headquarters in Miramar.

One of the top 10 U.S. airlines in terms of customer counts, Spirit Airlines first moved to the Miramar Park of Commerce at 2800 Executive Way with a lease for 56,194 square feet.

Spirit Airlines said that with its 14,625-square-foot expansion in 2013, the company now occupies 97,106 square feet at the location.

Spirit Airlines also employs about 1,000 people at the headquarters and now plans to hire more.
